This book is really amazing, so much helpful information for nursing students and for NCLEX exam. this book is perfect to study for NCLEX. So much easy to understand. Each lab value has defineded so well. The best thing is the price, anyone can afford to buy. I was so scared for lab values and all for nclex. After I started reading this book, I feel very confident about lab values. I would highly highly recommend this book. I so happy that I found this book with really good price on amazon. I love the Lab values guides, it has helped me retain countless amounts of information for my NCLEX exam. I get excited when I look on Amazon to see all of the other titles that I could purchase to help me with my career as a Registered Nurse. The price of the guides are great and the fact that they're all digit is fantastic. I could access my guides wherever I am, on my phone or tablet....how convenient. I will continue to use these guides for years to come if I ever should need a refresher.

In larger facilities, lab draws are done by laboratory professionals but it is still an important thing for nurses to know how to do. This book also contains many other tips and tricks that nursing professionals should know throughout their life. It is really a collection of references for nursing professional.
The book was written in 2015 and many of the lab values are out-dated already. Granted many of them are still applicable and hospital policies vary, but you have to make sure you have the right info when it comes to the NCLEX. The general info given is useful for highs and lows and what s/s you might see. It's a good refresher, just be aware that you'll need a seconardy current resource.
Some of the labs are not correct and the book is actually very thin ( 25 pages max). Bad purchase and highly dissatisfied!
